Accepted isn't published yet

Understand uploads, accepted submissions and final results, then handle authorization issues, failures and uncertain responses without creating duplicate posts.

Clicking Publish does not mean that a video is immediately visible on a TikTok profile. Uploading the source, accepting a request, processing the video and confirming its outcome are separate stages.

Knowing the difference helps you follow the work and avoid sending the same content twice.

Identify the current stage

Upload complete means the source has finished transferring and passed the relevant checks. It does not prove a publishing request has been sent.

Accepted or queued means the system has saved the operation and will follow it. A scheduled task may still be waiting for its time.

Processing or awaiting confirmation means there is no confirmed final outcome yet. A network timeout can happen after the receiving service has accepted a request, so a timeout alone does not establish failure.

Successful needs to be understood in the context of the selected mode and the confirmed result. Inbox delivery requires the creator to continue in TikTok; it should not be confused with a public direct post.

TikTok documents multiple processing stages, and does not guarantee a fixed completion time. TOKDEPLOY's records help you follow those outcomes.

While a task is running

Check the destination account, publishing mode, scheduled time and latest state. If an outcome is uncertain, keep following the original task instead of creating a replacement.

Accepted tasks continue in the background after you leave the page. Unfinished uploads are different: the browser still needs to transfer those files.

For a batch, inspect each video separately. One failure does not imply every other video failed.

Respond to the actual problem

Authorization needs attention: check the account and follow any reconnection instruction. Then review which actions the task permits. Do not share account passwords to bypass authorization.

The source cannot be used: check the size, actual format and duration. A video link must remain accessible when the receiving service reads it, including at a scheduled time. Playing it in your own browser does not establish remote accessibility.

The outcome is unknown: allow the system to confirm the original request. A new submission can duplicate work. If support is needed, share the task identifier, time and visible error, not passwords or private source credentials.

A failure is confirmed: correct its stated cause first. Use the task's retry action only when available, then wait for confirmation. Repeated clicks do not resolve a platform restriction or content-review decision.

After completion

Confirm that the available post link matches the intended account and video. Review the views, likes, comments and shares the platform exposes. Refresh controls have a cooldown, and metrics can arrive later than the post itself.

Keep the topic, objective, time and outcome together when reviewing content. Engagement figures are not evidence of revenue.

Hand over the original record

Assign someone to follow publishing outcomes. A useful handover includes the workspace, account, batch or task identifier, and items still in progress. The next person can continue from the original record instead of sending the content again.
